Anne Walker, M.D. will be the Medical Director for the Gobi March (Mongolia) 2025. Dr. Anne is an emergency physician in the San Francisco Bay Area, and a wilderness medicine physician.
She is passionate about the field of wilderness medicine and completed a wilderness medicine fellowship at Stanford University as well as a Diploma of mountain medicine at the University of New Mexico. She cherishes her time outdoors and enjoys hiking, climbing, trail running and skiing. She has previously been on the medical teams at the Atacama Crossing (Chile) 2018, the Namib Race (Namibia) 2019, the Special Edition of RacingThePlanet: Georgia 2022 and the Gobi March (Mongolia) 2023.

Nicky Mansfield, M.D. is an Emergency Medicine Physician and Wilderness Medicine Fellow at the University of New Mexico. She studied at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and completed her residency at the Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Dr Nicky was a member of the Atacama Crossing (Chile) 2018 medical team. The Gobi March (Mongolia) 2025 will be her second race as a member of the medical team.
Meganna MARTIN

Meggie Martin, M.D. is an Emergency Medicine resident, currently finishing up her last year of residency at St Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. She has a passion for wilderness medicine. She volunteers with the the New Jersey Search and Rescue team, recently spent a month in Telluride, Colorado working at the clinic by the ski resort, and spent one summer lifeguarding in Japan. When not working clinically, Dr. Meggie spends most of her time outside skiing, hiking, backpacking, running, camping and traveling. Dr. Meggie as a member of the Namib Race (Namibia) 2019 medical team, the Gobi March (Mongolia) 2025 will be her second race as part of the medical team.
Hirotaka NAKAGAWA

Hiro Nakagawa, M.D. is currently a PGY-4 Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation chief resident at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. Dr. Nakagawa has graduated from his residency program and started a one year Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of California, Davis last July 2024. He is very interested in mass event coverage and would love to be part of a RacingThePlanet Ultramarathon. Dr. Hiro has served in numerous sports event coverages including the following: Provided coverage for various sporting events for the Tufts University varsity teams under supervision of Dr. Shane Davis, a sports medicine trained physiatrist, including 4 games of men’s ice hockey and 1 game of men’s lacrosse as well as 3 days of college training room support. •Worked with athletic trainers at Austin Preparatory School to provide sideline coverage for 2 games of boys’ football, 1 game of boys’ soccer, 1 game of girls’ field hockey and 1 game of girls’ volleyball. •Provided sideline coverage for events hosted by Special Olympics including 2 days of flag football (8 games total), 1 day of soccer tournament (2 games total) and 1 day of pickleball tournament. •Provided medical coverage for the 2021 Boston Marathon. We are excited to work with Dr. Hiro at the Gobi March (Mongolia) 2025.
